That's beautiful!! How many eggs have the two females laid?
They are quite big eggs.
Hi,
the first nest contains 16 Eggs. The second one 26 eggs. The female of the first nest is smaller than the second one.
I'm not sure if I counted all eggs, because it's hard to count quick, without destroying the nest and trying to not disturb the guarding female too much.
Today I found a first sign of development in one of the eggs! :-)
Best Greetings,
Kamil
So they are fertile, thats great new(t)s Kamil, keep us updated!
Hi all,
just found a 3rd nest. It contains 20+ eggs. They are less then half the size than the older ones - so they soak up a lot water!
More pictures and updates to come soon!
Best Greetings,
Kamil
Now I know: they are clearly alive! ;D

I know the shots aren't the best but I think there are not so many pictures of this larvae by now so they are maybe still worth a look!
Best Greetings,
Kamil
Thanks for the photo's; they look great. The eyes of the larvae are pretty large, looks great.
nice photo's ;is that a red spot begind the frontlegs?do the adult's have this?
Hi,
thanks for the comments. The red spot is the heart. In of the larva-videos you can see the heart even beating very slowly :-)

Kamil
Hi all together,
I moved the tank with the larvae to the basement today and I found this little guy while doing so:

It is the first morphed juvie and the second one is about to follow tomorrow. I'm really proud now but of course I am aware that the hard job is just about to begin now. The juvie is about 20mm long.
Best Greetings,
Kamil
I've been away for some time, so a late reaction; very nice! I'm very interested in the further development of the animals!
Hi,
I hope they will do well! I think this shot demonstrates how "easy" they will be to raise due to their size.
